CMFG ARENA is the only facility in Ticino to offer a large ice zone,
separate from the main rink and available all year round, for the development of hockey skills for athletes.

This area can be booked for specific training sessions for individual players, teams or on the occasion of sports camps.
Its goal is to support athletes, allowing them to increase stickhandling and shooting skills.

The area dedicated to hockey skills training is in fact designed to guarantee simple and safe use
also for athletes in wheelchairs or with specific motor needs.

The ability to access the ice directly in a modern, functional and barrier-free environment allows
an ever greater number of people to approach sporting practice and develop their technical skills in total comfort.

The configuration of the spaces also allows for focused technical sessions, individual exercises
and personalised hockey training programmes for athletes of every level to be organised.
From first on-ice experiences to advanced preparation, the skills area offers an ideal environment
for working on technique consistently and professionally.

LEVEL -1

Master hockey shooting and stickhandling techniques on surfaces specifically designed to improve and develop puck control.

The skills area is accessible and suitable also for people with physical disabilities or limited motor skills.

The area dedicated to hockey skills training is located next to the indoor ice rink. This allows teams to train the entire team on the main rink while at the same time helping individual players to perfect their technique, without the two training sessions interfering with each other.
